Labour of Love

[In response to the new Everything Everything video]

Grateful and encouraged by the positive comments attached to Everything Everything’s remake of MY KZ UR BF (which we’re NOT involved with) we felt compelled to put a thank you message on youtube.

As a small company we made the last video for absolutely NO profit.

The three of us hold 9-5 jobs and, although we hope this is isn’t always the case, we have to plan and shoot around our work commitments – this shoot took place over a weekend – day & night –  it really was sweat and blood.

As with the previous 2, we were just happy to be contributing our talents, once again, for a project we really believed in.

This is how we discern which projects we want to make happen.  The ones we commit to we do fully and strive to make something a bit different, original and hopefully special; so lying in bed at night we can sleep happily knowing we are making the films we always wanted to.

Although we aren’t as prolific as we would like to be, we hope that our efforts and professional integrity will gain the respect and attention of developers who will enable us to do this one day for a living.

Thanks as always for your support and visit soon to check out the up & coming video for Manchester band I Am Your Autopilot.

MY KZ UR BF shoot

3/4′s are very pleased / proud to announce the new video for Everything Everything is almost ready!
Shot over 2 nights in a (haunted) nuclear war bunker, the ambitious video will coincide with the bands release of the new single MY KZ UR BF.
Expect more location shots (there are some awesome graphics too) dancing girls (thanks Jenny, Laura and Kat) falconry gloves all set in a sinister location that never ceased to throw-up an abundance of rich photographic qualities.

Embedded music journalist David Lichfield joined us for the whole shoot and his article will be posted soon on Muso’s Guide.

We would like to thank Lucy and the lovely people at Hack Green who let us film in their awesome bunker.

The song is being played frequently on radio 1 and Zane Lowe interviewed Jon last week – MY KZ UR BF is going to be the bands biggest release to date.

Please watch this space for the video which i will post asap.

If you are in Reading / Leeds then go see Everything Everything.

Thanks
chris

3/4′s at Eurocultured 09

Thanks Spearfish for assigning us the very enjoyable job of filming the festival (full line up here ).

Everything Everything played as did Nouvelle Vague, Fotos and Dick for Dick.
There was live art painted throughout the festival, as usual, by Sat One (Germany), Mr Kern (France), Mr Jago, Ponk,
Paris, Guy McKinley, Dreph, Ruse and Elph from the UK, as well as a world premier of the interactive ‘Empty Stomach’
inflatable installation by Merja Puustinen and Andy Best (Finland).

Full interview with with event creator Ben Reed from Spearfish can be found here.

Taz (Spearfish) is overseeing the edit and busy organizing the next Eurocultured festival in Dublin.

We hope to post film of the event and links to photographs taken asap.
